Summer Venture Award winners receive $10,000 to work on their startups over the summer. We asked the 2017 recipients what they achieved this summer.

Incidnt is a web and mobile phone application that provides students with an anonymous, easy to use tool to report bullying incidents in the school setting. It acts as a 2-way communication tool for students and admin, and provides transparency on progress of incidents. We will also expand to universities and workplaces once the concept is proven.

What’s your proudest accomplishment from this summer?

Fully completing the product. What we have prior to the summer was good, but what we have now achieved is great, and ready to be sold to customers. The final element was building in the payment platform. Whilst this was a relatively small task, it signified a significant amount of work. Of course, we understand that the product will continually develop and evolve, but we as a team are supremely happy with the current state.
